Understanding Email templates are simple with AXOMO! You can access all of the available email templates on your AXOMOstore by going to Admin Panel > Customize > Email Templates. You can select an email from the drop-down list. You are able to preview what this email would look like to your customers by clicking the “Preview” button in the top right corner.
Once you’ve selected an email template, you can edit how the email looks by changing the code in the body. AXOMOhas a set of email variables that you can use to customize your emails. If you would like to see what variables are available to use, you can find these at Customize > Email Variables. This will let you know what variables to use when you want to display certain information. For example, if you want your store logo to be displayed in a different spot, you would put ~~imgEmailLogo~~ in that spot. (You can read more about Email Variables here.) This will grab your store’s logo and display it when sending the email. If you make any changes, be sure you save your changes before exiting.
You can also change the subject line of the email by changing the text in the “Subject” box. This is the text that will show up before your customer opens the email.
If you don’t want a certain email being sent to your customers, you’re able to select which emails you don’t want to be sent and check the “Disable Email”. This will stop the email from going out to your customers.
You may be wondering why there is a “Is Notification” that pops up if you’ve selected the “Is Admin”. Let’s say you have a group of people that need to be notified when a new user creates an account. If you go to email #1, or “New Account” and select “Is Admin” and “Is notification” then save these changes.
You can then go to Notifications tab under Admin Panel > Customize > Notifications. This email will now show up as an option. Here you can enter in all of the usernames of the people that need to receive an email when someone creates a new account. Once you have added a user, their information will appear under the input box. To delete someone from this, simply click on the trash icon next to their name to delete it.
Remember when changing anything on the Email templates page that you click “Save Changes” before going to a new window of exiting. Your changes may not be saved otherwise.
